Dale and Mimi have both made some changes to our jobs, and we also have reduced the number of horses that we breed. We need to reduce the number of horses we own in order to enjoy more riding!

We sold four well-trained purebred Peruvian horses in 2018, and a beautiful half-Peruvian spotted filly. For 2019 we have 3 that are offered for sale and we will carefully place them in new homes. If you are looking for a special horse, please contact us so that we will know your needs and can help you find the right horse for you. 

Two horses are 6 years old and have had 15 - 20 months of professional training by Oscar Vasquez. They are all beautifully responsive in bit. They are sensitive and have exact cues. They have good basics in lateral movements and one has been shown and is a consistent show ring performer. He does all maneuvers, including advanced such as side-pass, leg-yield, turn on the haunches, all one-handed. The mare is extremely hot, has taken a long time to get her to relax, and better suited to a person with a calm experienced professional trainer, where she will excel in the shows in Breeding and Gait. 

We also have a 15 year old broodmare, strong, sound, trained to ride and also a sensitive horse, not difficult for an experienced rider. 

These horses will be sold only to homes that are good matches. If we do not have the right horse for you, we can refer you to others.

Please note: Peruvian Horses have unique temperaments and are very sensitive. We prefer to sell horses to riders with experience so that the horse has a better chance to adapt to the new person without undue stress. An orientation is provided to teach the cues the horse has been trained to understand. 

Transportation is possible to arrange for those purchasing farther away. We are located close to Calgary so many horse transport companies service the area. 

CM Romance is still a stallion. We have been showing him and he is a blast to show or ride on the trails. Romance (pronounced Row-mahn'-say) is very smooth, and very well trained. He is a fun horse to ride because he is very responsive. He stops, backs and circles superbly. He knows all the advanced performance maneuvers, so besides a great walk and standing still on command, he does smooth figure eights and serpentines. He also side-passes, does the turn on the haunches. He  can do gaited dressage moves such as leg yield. All this can be done one-handed or two-handed. He has been shown at three shows, and last year he won the open Western-English Pleasure class in good competition, as well as titles in Pleasure Stallion. He has not been bred and is not "studdy", would make an excellent transition to pleasure gelding. On the trail he is easy to handle and rides out by himself with no fuss. CM Amanecer is a very easy going horse with nice trail energy and willingness. He was recently gelded and we do not expect a change in behavior, since  he was always a very quiet well-mannered guy as a stallion. As a gelding he will be a great companion as well as one of the most beautiful horses a person could own. He is suitable for a variety of riders, as he is locked in his gait, easy to ride and a sweetheart to handle. His favorite thing is riding outdoors. He walks over logs and onto plywood or a tarp. He doesn't mind dogs and he has been exposed to some traffic. $6,500 Canadian plus 5% GST tax, or $5,500 US including his Coggins test and Export Health Certificate.
