This is the home of Crescent Moon Ranch Horses, Tack and Tours. We have been breeding Peruvian Horses since 1974, and running guided tours to Souoth America since 1995. We also raise a small number of high-quality naturally gaited Part-Blood Peruvian Pintos and Spotted Saddle Horses. Based in Alberta, Canada, we produce a limited number of show and trail horses. Our focus is on quality of gait, good minds and sound animals. Ours saddle horses get the best training we can provide support for those who buy horses or tack from us. We have Peruvian and Other Gaited Horses Available
We offer sales of high quality gaited horses. We use only trainers skilled in gaited horses of all breeds and have several breeds in training. Call us to see what is available and look under the Horses For Sale tab for more information! NOTE: We provide orientation to prospective buyers so that they understand the training and cues of the particular horse they are considering buying. We match horses with buyers very carefully, so we will ask questions to understand the type of riding you do, the size and temperament and training of the horse you need. We do not have lesson horses and do NOT offer public riding lessons.

New Peruvian Partblood Pinto Foal Expected 2021!
We are pleased to announce that we are expecting a Half-Peruvian Spotted Saddle Horse foal for June 2021. Rambling Colors (pictured here) has been confirmed in foal to CM Innovacion. The foal will be Tobiano Pinto pattern, and can only be Bay and White or Seal Brown and White. Rambling Colors is 15.2 hands with a lateral gait and an easy going friendly temperament. CM Innovation is a 14 hand stout and thick Peruvian stallion who won many Breeding Division Championships. The foals come out very naturally gaited, looking quite Peruvian, with bigger bone, and 14.3 to 15 hands estimated mature height. Would you like some color in your life? New Half-Peruvian Pinto Spotted Gaited Filly!
Born April 23, 2018, CM Dot's Present, very gaited filly sired by Peruvian stallion CM Innovacion out of Spotted Saddle Horse mare Rambling Colors. Dot will mature about 14.3 hands, she has excellent bone, smooth gait and is athletic as well as beautiful. She is a bay tobiano pinto with white. See our Horses For Sale Page for video and more information. She was sold to very nice people after being halter broken and weaned, September 2018.

CM Perfecta, born May 17 sired by CM Innovacion x CM Raya Blanca. Bay tobiano filly, long-awaited. She is Raya's only tobiano so far. This filly has color genetics of AaEe nT/T and may carry frame overo. She will be registered NAPHA 75% Peruvian, Also Canadian Pinto and SSHBEA Spotted Saddle Horse.
Announcing the arrival of our first foal of 2017 -- a Spotted Saddle Horse (gaited)filly out of Rambling Colors sired by Cool Alen Jackson. Born March 2, she is dark buckskin and very lively! Her name is ''Too Cool Missy Jackson''.

Canadian National Show 2014
Crescent Moon Ranch horses took first in Gait, for both Stallions and Mares! Both classes were for bit horses 4 years and over. First place in Mares went to CM Dulcinea trained and shown by Oscar Vasquez S. First in Stallions was taken by CM Laberinto, owned and shown by Dale Downey.
